The supreme courts ruling to criminalizing “encampment” is a their under code ruling not against just being poor and homeless that the media has presented it to be while also incredulous, but rather the argument against our first amendment right to assemble in protest. That I believe is why they ruled in favor of it.. We are living in terrifying times. Thank you for sending this to me I’ll share it with many.

Fiction rarely offers solutions. More often, it emphasizes individual fortitude and dignity in the face of oppression or disaster. Or, in its most Orwellian mode, offers no hope at all. At the moment, the tragic drama unfolding both within the public sphere and within the Trump and Biden families feels positively Shakespearean. But I'll see if anything comes to mind.
For summer reading, I suggest Philip Roth's "The Plot Against America."

While the terror of 4 years of Trump-Vance is vast, the still greater harm could be a yet more “stocked” Supreme Court — that’s a decades long plague.
